BEHIND-THE-SCENES: 'BOOK OF DREAMS' LAUNCH

   Pre-publication work takes weeks, and it is only fitting that the end of the process is marked with a book launch. 'Book of Dreams', the poetry spectactular from Mervin M. Francis, was started on in July 2020, and celebrated its launch on the 21st of November. Due to pandemic restrictions, the launch was limited to a private event with media, publishing associates, and some of author's friends/family. Here's what happened at the event: Suburban Cafe in Durban North, KZN The event took place at a charming cafe in the heart of Durban North. Suburban Cafe is a gem of a venue for a chic event. From an entrant pool of both veteran writers and novices from every corner of South Africa, there were two writers whose work caught the attention of the KREST team, resulting in both being offered publishing deals for their work-in-progress books.
